Easy Buttermilk Chicken

#2 had craving for this during MCO. 😅

No choice lor. Tried to cook this. 

Verdict. #2 likes it but says that it is too milky. 

Maybe coz I used full cream milk? Hhmmmm...... will try again.... 

Hubby likes it though.


Ingredients
  • 3 whole legs - no skin, bite size
  • 2 tbsp corn flour
  • 3 cloves garlic - mince
  • 4 pcs dried chilli - cut into 1"
  • Handful of curry leaves
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • Salt, pepper
Method
  1. Marinade chicken with salt, pepper and 2 tbsp corn flour for at least 30min in fridge. Overnight better
  2. Wait till chicken not so cold. 
  3. Heat oil for deep fry. Lightly coat chicken with corn flour before frying till golden brown. Drain and set aside
  4. In new pan. Low heat. Melt butter.
  5. Saute garlic, chilli and curry leaves till fragrant
  6. Slowly add milk. Keep stirring. Cook until sauce is reduced and thick.
  7. Add chicken and stir well till chicken is coated.
  8. Serve immediately.
