Banana Bread (BM)

My Thoughts
We had some very very ripe bananas. 😅 So, I decided to bake banana bread in my bread maker. 

I forgot to include the bananas in this picture. 😅

I told my #2 it should be banana cake because it is batter not dough. 😂

Verdict: The whole family loves it! 🤗💖🥰

Ingredients
  • 1/2 cup milk - lukewarm
  • 114g butter - soften in microwave
  • 2 large eggs - beaten
  • 1 tsp vanilla essence
  • 3 medium ripe bananas - mashed
  • 1/2 tsp salt
  • 280g AP flour 
  • 2 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp baking soda
  • 170g sugar

Method
  1. If you have time, you can sieve the flour, baking powder and baking soda together. The texture will be lighter.
  2. Put into the bread pan all the ingredients in the order recommended by the manufacturer. 
  3. For me, I put in the liquids followed by the dry stuff .... in the order of my ingredient list
  4. Settings- - Quick, Light, 2lb
  5. During the initial mix, sometimes the dry stuff clumps at the corners. Use rubber spatula to push in the stuff to prevent clumping.
  6. When done, remove bread pan from machine. 
  7. Check for if cooked using a stick. If not cooked yet, put back in the hot machine for another 10min.
  8. When done, DO NOT remove the bread from the bread pan. Let it rest in the bread pan for about 10 minutes.
  9. Gently remove from bread pan. Dont forget the paddle!
  10. Let the bread cool completely before slicing!
