Basic Pizza Dough (BM method)

This recipe makes 1 big/regular pizza. 

Easy to use a breadmaker. Just dump everything and wait 1 1/2 hour and you get a perfect dough. 😁 Perfect for me. 😬

Note. 
Must remember to roll into thinner crust. #3 prefers really thin crust.

And also planning to buy a dough mat.... soon. 

#2 mixed in fresh chopped garlic into the tomato puree. Really good coz we are garlic lovers. 😄

  Ingredients
  • 2 cups of bread flour/AP flour (sieve) - 256g
  • 1 tbsp butter (softened) - 14.2g
  • 1/2 cup warm water
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 1 tsp garlic powder (optional)
  • 1 tsp yeast
  • 2 tbsp water (optional)
Method
  1. Measure out butter. Let if soften while you get the rest ready.
  2. Sieve the flour
  3. Add the ingredients into BM according to manufacturer's guide
  4. With my machine,
    1. Put water
    2. Add butter
    3. Add salt in one corner
    4. Add sugar
    5. Add garlic powder
    6. Add flour
    7. Make a hole and add yeast
  5. Select 'dough' setting. Start machine
  6. After 1 or 2 minutes, check dough. If too dry, add 1 tbsp of water. 
  7. Check again after a minute, if still dry, add another tbsp of water.
  8. It should form a ball of dough.
  9. After the cycle is done, preheat the over - 200C
  10. Take out dough and roll into shape.
  11. Or can use hand to flatten and stretch out dough.
  12. Pinch or fold over edges to make crust.
  13. Brush surface of pizza with olive oil
  14. Poke holes in the dough. Stab with fork.
  15. Put your desired toppings
  16. Bake for about 18-20 minutes till crust slightly brown and toppings cooked.

Method 2 (must try at later date)
1 cup water, PLUS
2 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons oil
3 cups bread flour
1 teaspoon sugar
1 teaspoon salt
2 1/2 teaspoons active dry yeast
