This is such a simple dish. I made it without wrapping with eggs. Just made some omelettes, sliced it and sprinkle on top of noodles.
I used 2tsp of cili boh, but if u like spicy food (like #3), u can use 3 tsp.
Suitable for a midweek lunch.
Ingredients (Feeds 1 😂)
- 2 pieces of Vit's dry noodle.
- 2 eggs - beat with a little bit of salt
- 2 tsp cili boh (3 tsp if you prefer spicier)
- 1/2 tbsp oyster sauce
- Some vegetables (sawi, cabbage, taugeh, cauliflower florets...)
- 1 tbsp dark soy sauce
- 2 clove garlic - mince
- 4 tbsp cooking oil
- Optional proteins
- 1/2 stick fish cake
- 50g chicken breast - sliced thin, marinate in a little soy sauce and corn flour
- 2-3 pcs prawn - shelled, deveined
- 2-3 pcs sotong - cleaned
- Garnishings
- Few slices of red chili
- Few slices of tomatoes
Method
- Put Vit's noodle into boiling water for about 3-4 minutes.
- Strain and leave aside.
- 4 tbsp oil. Medium heat. Stir fry garlic and cili boh.
- Add your proteins and cauliflower (if using) Stir fry for about 2 minutes.
- Add other vegetables, dark soy and oyster sauce.
- Add noodles. Stir till cooked and make sure everything is mixed well.
- Keep aside.
- Make an omelette.
- Put noodles into center of omelette and wrap the noodles with omelette.
- Serve with garnishings.
