My Thoughts
I cook this quite often, especially mid week. Easy and tasty too.Ingredients
- 1 whole chicken breast - remove skin and cubed
- 1 tbsp corn flour
- a small head of broccoli
- 3 cloves garlic - minced
- oil
- Sauce (Mix)
- 1 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 1 tsp sugar
- 1 tsp corn flour
- 1/2 cup water
- dash white pepper
Method
- Marinate the chicken pieces with corn flour and salt. Add the corn flour little by little. Make sure to coat each piece of chicken, If too dry, add a little water.
- Cut the broccoli into bite-sized florets.
- Boil a pot of water. Blanch broccoli for a minute. Scoop up, run cold water through it. Drain and set aside
- Heat pan.
- Add 2 tbsp oil. Stir fry garlic till fragrant.
- Increase heat. Add chicken and quickly stir fry chicken till a bit cooked (or brown)
- Reduce heat. Add sauce. Keep stirring and make sure you scrape the bits of chicken stuck to the pan.
- When chicken is cooked, add the broccoli. Turn off the heat and stir to mix the broccoli and chicken together.
