This is a refreshing dessert and a favourite of my nephews.Ingredients
- Milo Jelly
- 400 ml water
- 4 heap tbsp Milo powder - more if you like
- 5 1/2 tbsp sugar
- 1/2 tsp jelly powder
- 2 tsp agar-agar powder
- Milk Jelly
- 120 ml water
- 80 ml evaporated milk
- 3 tbsp sugar
- 1/4 tsp jelly powder
- 1 tsp agar-agar powder
- few drops of vanilla essence
Method
- Wet the mould before using. This will make sure the jelly pop out from the mould easily.
- Milo Jelly
- Put all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Stir to dissolve sugar and agar-agar powder.
- Bring to a gentle boil. Stir frequently.
- Lower heat to simmer an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Pour into mould.
- When jelly slightly set, scratch the top with a fork. Make the milk jelly.
- Milk Jelly
- Put all ingredients in a saucepan.
- Stir to dissolve sugar and agar-agar powder.
- Bring to a gentle boil. Stir frequently.
- Lower heat to simmer an additional 2-3 minutes.
- Gently pour onto the top of milo jelly.
- Let the jelly set a little.
- Leave the jelly in the fridge for at least 2 hours before serving.
