My Thoughts
Cooked it during MCO 3.0. Turned out quite nice. Now a family favourite.
Ingredients
- 6 chicken drumsticks
- 2 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tbsp chilli powder
- 1 tbsp cornflour
- 2 tbsp meat curry powder
- 4 cloves garlic - mince
- 2 tbsp ginger paste (or 5 cm ginger - use japanese grater)
- 1 lime - juice only
- salt to taste
- handful of curry leaves - wash and drain dry
Method
- Clean chicken and pat dry
- Marinate in other ingredients except curry leaves. Leave covered in fridge for at least 1 hour
- Make sure chicken is room temperature before deep frying till cooked.
- After finished frying the chicken, throw in the curry leaves.
- Deep fry the curry leaves till crispy.
- Garnish the chicken with the curry leaves.
